Behold the 1595 World Map "Vera Totius Expeditionis Nauticæ" by Jodocus Hondius showing the world in two hemispheres. This stunning map indicates the routes around the world of Sir Francis Drake between 1577-1580 and Thomas Cavendish between 1586-1588, including 2 ancillary maps showing landings at California and Java, 2 ancillary views showing Drake's welcome at Moluccas and Drake's ship cast up on the rocks near the Celebes, and accompanying text.

This print is a highly detailed scan of an original engraved print and is truly an amazing image perfect for framing. It makes an excellent addition to your home or office, and is a perfect gift for the British aficionado in your life.
