Behold this vintage zodiac sign constellation art print originally appearing in a boxed set series of cards called Urania's Mirror, featuring various constellations and published by Sidney Hall c.1825.

On page 68 of his Astronomical Atlases, Maps & Charts (Search Publishing Company, London, 1932) Basil Brown writes with regard to Sidney Hall's plates: "The engravings of this atlas are finely executed, with the stars denoted in a novel manner, i.e. perforated to size, according to magnitudes, so as to be visible against a light ground. This work is rather scarce, and copies are not easily obtained."

Capricorn dates run from December 22 to January 19 in the Western tropical astrology calendar. Represented by the Sea-Goat and ruled by Saturn, Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign known for being ambitious, disciplined, and highly practical.
